SEVIS Transfer
Request a SEVIS record Transfer-Out from Your Current School.
Forward the “Welcome to NEC” email to your current DSO. This email is your Acceptance Letter with the transfer information. We do not have a transfer-in form.
New England College will only accept an active SEVIS record.
Speak with your current DSO and keep in mind, a SEVIS Transfer-Out can take up to 2 weeks to be processed.
Your DSO can schedule the Transfer Out for a future date. Once your DSO has indicated a release date in SEVIS, New England College can issue your NEC email account and MYNEC login.
New England College School Code: BOS214F00408000.
Deadline for SEVIS record release date is 4pm EST the Wednesday before the program starts.
You will receive an email confirmation, once we see your SEVIS record in the queue.
NEC Email, Blackboard & MyNEC Login
After your SEVIS record has been transferred, you will receive an email with your NEC Email Account and Student ID information.
This can take up to 3 business days AFTER you receive confirmation of the SEVIS transfer.
Check email regularly and ensure that you can login to MyNEC and NEC Webmail.
Course Registration
Academic Advising will register your first class closer to the term start.
Students cannot register themselves.
If you are in the Computer Information Systems program, an email will be sent to your NEC email with information on how to register. If you are in Data Science and Analytics or Health Informatics, you will be registered for your first class by Academic Advising.
